About Zakgear
ZAK International was founded by Stepan Lunin in 1996. Originally the company was promoting new gear technology that was developed at Izhevsk State Technological University, Rostove State University and MIL Helicopter Company. The scope of work was targeted on promoting of advanced academic research in power transmission gear. The research was targeted on new gear designs like not involute tooth forms or worm face gears and on new method of computer modeling.
As an international organization the company is taking advantage of reducing the operating cost by subcontracting businesses in different countries. The low operating cost is cascaded back to our clients by substantial cost reduction of our products.
